July 24, 2010 – StoneBridge has moved their offices to a new Rochester, NY location. The newly constructed headquarters located at 280 Kenneth Drive, near the New York State thruway, will offer state of the art communication, training and meeting facilities for the firm.
Spring 10 – Renee Martin has joined StoneBridge Business Partners as a staff auditor. Renee had been working in the Audit department of EFP Rotenberg for nearly two years before joining StoneBridge this spring.
Fall 09 – Jim Marasco will be presenting at the AGA 2009 Fraud Conference in Albany, NY in November.
Spring 09 – StoneBridge's affiliate, Eldredge, Fox & Porretti, LLP,
announced plans to merge with Rotenberg & Co. The new firm will be named EFP Rotenberg and will include over 150 employees.
Winter 08 – Lou Camarella and Jim Marasco have received the CFF designation (Certified in Financial Forensics) from the AICPA.
Fall 08 – Rob Williams has joined StoneBridge Business Partners as a senior auditor. Rob rejoins the firm after serving 4 years in the armed forces.
Spring 08 – On March 6, 2008, Jim Marasco presented a continuing professional education seminar on corporate and mortgage fraud to the Rochester chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Spring 08 – The following additions have been made to StoneBridge Business Partners team:
Vicki Ellender has joined StoneBridge Business Partners as a staff auditor. Vicki is a recent graduate of SUNY Brockport and holds a B.S. in accounting. Vicki will work in the compliance audit division and is a native of Greece, New York.
Jim Buffum has joined StoneBridge Business Partners as a senior auditor. Buffum, who was previously an administrator with the University of Rochester Medical center, will be involved in the healthcare consulting group. He holds a B.S. in accounting from SUNY Geneseo and an M.B.A. from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School. Jim is a native of Syracuse, New York.
